Assignment: Choose a charity organization in need of a rebrand, and develop convention collateral material.
Solution: A rebrand of the Hero Initiative, which helps to create financial safety nets for comic book creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for life essentials, and avenues back into paying work.

Ludologic
Course: Typography III
Instructor: Ariel Grey
Assignment: Utilizing experimental typography and a deep concept, create a promotional showcase for an existing company’s line of paper.
Solution: Using New Leaf’s Legacy line of paper, I chose to explore the concept of what “legacy” might mean to humanity in the far future. I am a firm believer in the power of video games as an art form, and I believe gaming will only become more sophisticated as time progresses. I chose to design my book around the idea of what ideas like “play,” “gaming,” “art,” and “history” might mean to our distant descendants.
